The problem
Tickets for one event are routinely sold across several platforms at once, plus a spreadsheet for the guest list. On the day, that means several apps, several devices, and no single view of who has actually walked in. Venue wifi rarely helps.
The product
Event Pass Reader imports attendee and ticket data from wherever it was sold — Eventbrite, Ticket Tailor, Shopify, Excel or CSV — and turns it into one check-in list. Scanning works fully offline, duplicate passes are caught the moment they are presented, and attendance stays live across every door.

What building it taught us
This product lives or dies on the worst thirty seconds of an event: a queue at the door, no signal, and a guest whose ticket will not scan. Building for that forced hard decisions about what has to work offline and what can wait. Constraints like that are usually where the real product lives, and finding them early is most of what we do for founders.
