The problem

Finding something to do in your own city is oddly hard. Events are scattered across social posts, ticketing sites and word of mouth, and most of what surfaces is whatever paid to be seen. Organisers have the mirror-image problem: reaching the people who would genuinely want to come.

The product

Glentio puts both sides in one place. People search by what, where and when, and browse curated free events happening near them. Organisers get the tools to create an event, promote it, manage attendees and sell tickets without stitching four services together.

Who it serves

  • People looking for something to do nearby, this weekend or whenever they are free
  • Independent organisers running events without a marketing budget
  • Venues and promoters who need ticketing and attendee management in one place

What building it taught us

Glentio is a marketplace, which means it has the hardest problem in product: it is not useful to either side until both sides show up. Solving that has meant being disciplined about which side to build for first, and honest about which features actually move people to act. That is the same judgement we bring to founders facing the same trap.

We apply the same product discipline to the founders and businesses we support.
